Products like these aren’t necessarily huge sellers – often due to a hefty initial price tag – but they have an uncanny ability to impress, titillate and get people talking. Much has been written about the first generation Kindle and there’s no getting around the fact that it was one odd-looking duck. With its angular lines, bizarre keyboard orientation and quirky scroll controller, it’s hardly a stretch to say that the first Kindle was aesthetically challenged.
